CFRN® Certification Receives Continued Accreditation by ABSNC

1/2/2018

The Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN) certification program has been granted continued accreditation by the Accreditation Board for Specialty Nursing Certification (ABSNC), the only accrediting body specifically for nursing certification.
BCEN® is extremely proud of having achieved this prestigious recognition, as accreditation signifies that the CFRN certification complies with the highest quality standards set forth by ABSNC. Click here to see a listing of BCEN accredited programs.

Achieving accreditation demonstrates to nurses holding the CFRN credential, nurses considering the CFRN exam, employers and the public that the CFRN credential is a mark of distinction, highly valued in the practice of flight nursing care, as it raises the level of expertise in their specialty. Click here to read the press release on the ABSNC website.
The CFRN credential is currently held by more than 3,600 RNs. Because the program is accredited and meets ABSNC’s high standards, many employers cover the cost of the exam.
