Taking a TCRN Prep Exam will assist with identifying areas to concentrate your study and will help you become familiar with the types of questions that may be on your exam. If you purchased a TCRN Prep Exam, do a final run-through. Plus, you can access the TCRN Prep Exam multiple times within your 90 day window.

Apply for and Schedule the Exam
Read through the Candidate Handbook.
Then apply for the TCRN exam online via your BCEN account and schedule your exam appointment with Pearson VUE, our test delivery provider. You will receive an exam eligibility e-mail from BCEN upon completion of your application and receipt of payment in full. Your exam eligibility e-mail contains important information on your 90-day test window, where and how to schedule your exam appointment with Pearson VUE.

Increase your comfort level before you sit for your exam – take a tour of a Pearson Professional Center so you will know what to expect on your scheduled exam day.
Sit for the Exam
If successful, renew your certification in 4 years. If unsuccessful, you may re-test after the 90-day waiting period.
