You're Certified, Get Recognized

You've done the work, you've earned your BCEN® certification — now it's time to get recognized for your achievement!  Read our success stories and awards profiles for inspiration and ideas for recognizing your and your colleagues' BCEN certification, and for motivating others to achieve their certification. Here are some simple things you can do within your organization.

  1. Purchase official BCEN merchandise from the BCEN store. There are a variety of logo items for those who have earned the CEN®, CFRN®, CPEN®, CTRN® and TCRN® designations. Go shopping and wear or use your item with pride.
  2. Tell people! Bring a treat to work to announce your accomplishment. Take some time to tell other emergency nurses about certification and the process of becoming BCEN certified. Support the efforts of others who want to achieve BCEN certification. Encourage them and recognize them publicly when they achieve their goal!
  3. Contact BCEN to get copies of promotional marketing materials, with information on all of the BCEN specialty certifications. Make them available in your department.
  4. Visit the BCEN website to view testimonial videos of BCEN certified nurses.  These inspirational stories come directly from your peers and will encourage your coworkers to get certified.
