Your BCEN specialty nursing certification, as well as other specialty nursing certifications, may be accepted by your State Board of Nursing for all continuing education (CE) or continued competence (CC) requirements, or for partial CE or CC requirements when renewing your RN licensure.
Or, your state board may accept the education (CEs) you have earned for your certification/recertification towards your RN license renewal.
If you are licensed in one of the applicable states (a green or blue state in the map below), then your BCEN certification is of even greater value to you!
Click on your state to access the specific information that is available from the corresponding state board. In many instances, two different links are available for a state. To access the two links that may be available for a state, please choose a state from the drop-down list just below the map.
Please contact your state board with questions and for further details regarding your RN licensure renewal.
