BCEN is a not-for-profit corporation, which strives to continually evaluate and upgrade the certification exams for emergency, flight/transport and trauma nurses. There are currently more than 46,000 BCEN speciality certifications held by nurses. The Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN®) and the Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN®) certifications are accredited by the Accreditation Board for Specialty Nursing Certification (ABSNC). BCEN also offers the Certified Transport Registered Nurse (CTRN®), the Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse (CPEN®) certification and the Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN®) certifications.
