NEW WHITE PAPER FOR NURSES FEATURES FIVE TOP REASONS TO EARN
EMERGENCY NURSING SPECIALTY CERTIFICATION
OAK BROOK, IL (June 7, 2018) – The Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing (BCEN) today released the white paper “5 Compelling Reasons to Get (and Keep) Your Emergency Nursing Specialty Certification” for nurses working across the emergency spectrum in adult and pediatric emergency care, critical care ground transport, flight nursing, and trauma settings.

BCEN’s first ever white paper explains how national board certification can benefit the everyday practice and career success of individual nurses and describes the value and importance of certification to employers and patients. The white paper highlights the major findings of a recent, large-scale study on the value of emergency nursing specialty certification and includes interactive vignettes of six board certified emergency nurses practicing in a variety of settings around the country. The white paper also connects nurses with tips to overcome common obstacles to getting and staying certified.
